A cross-sectional study was conducted on 210 male migrant workers (15-49 years old) who were random selected from list of temporary registration in Yen Hoa ward, Cau giay district, since May to September 2009 in order to describe attitude of male migrant workers in preventing HBV infection and informtion sources that they were approached and shared. The result showed that a major part of participants had a mild attitude in two views expressed both discrimination against disease and demonstration of positive attitude in preventing HBV infection. More than one-half (52,4 percent) of the participants have incorrect attitude. Most studied group received information through the mass media, however, the ability of accessing information actively was low. Need to be focused on communication through different channels, in which get more improving of communication on medical staff.
