The study was carried out to evaluate the effect of antenatal care among mothers with children's age of under 2 years in Northern mountain areas, Central highlands and Central areas in 2006-2011. The results showed that ANC or = 3 times was 77.2 percent increased to 84.8 percent after the intervention. ANC in the district and province hospital increased rapidly after intervention (from 34.9 percent to 49.5 percent). Tetanus vaccination or = 2 was 71.8 percent decreased to 68.6 percent after the intervention. However, the difference was not statistically significant with p 0.05. Conclusions: the intervention program to improve prenatal care is quite effective for the ANC and tetanus vaccination was limited. Need to maintain and monitor to assess long-term effectiveness.
