Coronary perforation during percutaneous coronary intervention is a rare but dreadful complication. Which may result in potentially life threatening cardiac tamponade or cardiac arrest. The reasons of this complication may be related to patient's risk factors or physician's interventional techniques. Most of these complications can be managed without surgical intervention. In some cases, surgical procedures such as coronary artery repair or ligation and coronary artery bypass graft might be needed.
