Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a condition causing decreased or loss movement tetraplegia or paraplegia with other disorders of sensation, bladder, intestines, genital. Currently, there are few studies on quality of life of traumatic spinal cord injuried in Vietnam. Objective: Assessing quality of life and initially described some of factors related to quality of life of patients with SCI. Material and methods: A description study on 33 patients with traumatic spinal cord injuried. The outcomes were judged by EQ - 50 scale. Results and conclusions: The study has shown that the average quality of life of patients increased significantly after 4 weeks of treatment. Simultaneously, the authors also found an association between ASIA vulnerability to changing the quality of life (p 0.05). However, the authors did not find significant correlation between age, gender, cause of injury and damage location to change the quality of life (p 0.05).
