From January 2008 to December 2010, 110 multiple myeloma patients were hospitalized at the Blood transfusion and Hematology hospital of Ho Chi Minh city, 44 patients (40 percent) had a coagulopathy at diagnosis including 8.2 percent patients at stage II and 30.8 percent patients at stage III of Durie - Salmon classification. There's a weak correlation between proteimia and TO, TCK, Fibrinogen. After chemotherapy, the coagulation results returned to normal.
