Cải thiện tình trạng dinh dưỡng trẻ em dưới 5 tuổi tại Sóc Sơn - Hà Nội bằng mô hình truyền thông giáo dục dinh dưỡng

The study was carried out to improve the nutritional status of children under 5 years in Soc Son - Hanoi by nutrition education communications model. The results showed the rate of malnutrition children decreased significantly to Viet Long commune at age 12 - 24 months (29.0 percent and 17.7 percent) and 24 - 36 months (30.3 percent and 18.5 percent) (p 0.05). Interventions effect is 15.9 percent. The proportion to receive information from health workers increased after the intervention (67 percent and 90 percent) and significant differences between Viet Long and Phu Ninh (90 percent and 79.4 percent) (p 0.05). The rate of mothers instructed by health workers on caring and feeding children in Viet Long is 71.5 percent, Phu Ninh is 58.7 percent (p 0.05). In conclusion, the model nutrition communication and education of available food using locally during 12 months in Viet long Commune has reduced malnutrition rates and a base made appropriate recommendations to encourage mothers access to nutrition education services in other communes of Soc Son.
