Mondini dysplasia is the most common congenital malformation of the cochlear associated with hearing loss and congenital cerebrospinal fluid leak. It occurs due to anomaly embryonic development of the inner ear during the seventh week of fetal life. Mondini dysplasia can cause cerebrospinal fluid fistula from subarachnoid to middle ear. It is diagnosed on computer tomography temporal bone. Surgical closure of the defect is the method treatment. the authors present a case of Mondini dysplasia in a male' 17 months year old with cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea and recurrent bacterial meningitis and discussed the symptoms, computer tomography and the treatment.
