
Objective: Study about paraclinical signs of pneumonia of children under one years old in National Hospital of pediatrics from 01/01/2010 to 30/06/2010.Methods: described study 393 pediatric patients 1 year of age are diagnosed pneumonia in Pneumology Department in National Hospital ofPediatrics. Results: Anemia was seen in 65.9 percent of children with pneumonia but usually mild anemia (58.0 percent), had no very severe anemia. Patients with elevated white blood cell accounted for 41.7 percent, found no cases leukopenia. The rate of mild anemia mainly found in groups from 2 to 12 months. Moderate and severe anemia were more observed in the 2-month group (12.1 percent). Increase the number of white blood cell in the group aged over 6 months - 12 months (50.9 percent) with p 0.05. Conclusion: In children with pneumonia under 2 months of age are generally less anemia but the rate of severe anemia were more seen in the 2-month-old infants. Rate of elevated leukemia in children under 2 months of age with pneumonia were higher than children 2- month group.
