
Asthma is respiratory chronic disease in children with high morbidity. Aims: defined a characteristic of clinical and para-clinical sign of asthma exacerbation in children. Method: conducted cohort on 260 patients with asthma exacerbation, 2007-2009 at National Pediatric Hospital. Results: fever (31.92 percent), cough (100 percent), wheezing (100 percent), chest tightness (46.54 percent), symptom of asthma in the nigh (23.08 percent), fast breathing (56.54 percent), retraction of accessory muscle (38.08 percent), wheezing rales (99 percent), crackle (5 percent). Mild asthma exacerbation (51.54 percent), Moderate asthma exacerbation and serve asthma exacerbation (48.46 percent). Hyper white blood cell (46.15 percent), eosinophil (46.92 percent), CRP at normal level (81.54 percent), increasing level of IgE (70.52 percent). Conclusion: cough, wheezing, fast breathing occur asthma exacerbation in children 5 years; chest tightness and symptom of asthma in the night occur asthma exacerbation in children or = 5 years; Increasing level of IgE and eosinophil in blood.
