Objectives: Find out specify and assessment the results non operative management of splenic injury in Nghe An general frienship hospital. Materials and methods: Prospective and retrospective study to all 90 cases with splenic injury non operative management in Nghe An general frienship hospital in 7 years (2006-2012) irrespective of gender and causes, aged 16 years up to. Results: There are 90 cases, average age 32.4 + or - 11.2 (16-68) years old, Male 61 (67.8 percent) Female 29 (33.2 percent), 74 patients (82.2 percent) is farmer, 76 patients (84.4 percent) living in rural and mountainous areas. Splenic Injury alone accounting for 61.1 percent and 38.9 percent lesions coordination, in which splenic injury grade I + II is 43.2 percent, grade III is was 44.5 percent and grade IV is 13.3 percent. The rate of successful conservative treatment with splenic injury grade I, grade II is 100 percent, 95 percent grade III, I grade IV is 91.7 percent. Duration of hospital conservative treatment average of 5.7 percent 2.9 (3-8) days. Conclusions: Non operative management of splenic injury is increasingly seen as a standard treatment methods when stable hemodynamic status if there is medical facilities enough of means sufficient and experienced surgeons good experienced physicians and equipments.
