
Objectives: To evaluate the results of intravenous thrombolytic therapy for acute ischemic stroke patients at General Friendship Hospital of Nghe An. Methods: The study was performed on 54 prospective stroke patients with acute ischemic stroke treated by fibrinolytic alteplase intravenously in the Department of Neurology, General Friendship Hospital of Nghe An from November 2012 to November 2014. To assess the effects of treatment through amendments Rankin scale (modified Rankin Scale mRS) at 3 months after treatment. Assess the safety of the method through mortality and bleeding complications. Resuffs: During the study period, 54 patients with acute cerebral stroke thrombolysis using drugs intravenously. The average age is 65.4 years of age, N/HSS score (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) admission average is 15.2 points. The average time from onset of first symptoms to treatment was 168 minutes. After 3 months after treatment, there were 18 patients with favorable outcome (mRS 0-1), accounting for 33.3 percent, 6 patients died (11,1 percent) and the percentage of patients with cerebral hemorrhage complications was 5.5 percent (3 patients). Conclusions:Treatment of intravenous thrombolysis with positive results for the rate of recovery, low mortality and hemorrhage rates.
