The SSNHL was treated mainly with corticoids. Intratympanic corticoid is an effective, and safe. Aim: To study clinical and audiometric results of intratympanic corticoids treatment for SSNHL. Method: Prospective study on 56 patients who presented with SSNHL in Bach Mai Hospital, were treated by intratympanic corticods and medical therapy. Result: Hearing level recovery 75 percent, no recovery 25 percent, no serious complications. Condusion: Intratympanic corticoid is an effective, safe and widely use.
