
Objectives: "Assessment of some clinical and paraclinical features in the diagnosis of molar pregnancy in National Hospital of OB-GYN". Materials and methods: Sample size: 100 molar pregnancy patients; Methods: Descriptive prospective study. Results: Molar pregnancy features: the ,average gestational age: 8.61 + or 0.9 weeks; Sympathy signs: 27 percent; Uterus bigger than GA: 53 percent; Theca Lutein Cysts: 22 percent. The value of diagnostic methods: Uterus bigger than GA: sensitivity: 64 percent, NPV: 44.14 percent; Ultrasound, sensitivity: 98.72 percent, specificity: 4.55 percent, NPV: 50.0 percent; Beta hCG: sensitivity: 85.4 percent percent, specificity: 72.72 percent, NPV: 59.26 percent; If combination of ultrasound with beta hCG: Sensitivity: 85.4 percent percent, specificity: 72.27 percent, NPV: 60.1 percent. Conclusions: The diagnosis of molar pregnancy based on combination of ultrasound with beta hCG have high diagnostic value.
