Đánh giá tác dụng dự phòng tụt huyết áp khi khởi mê bằng hỗn hợp etomidate 2%- phenylephrine 50mcg/ml so với etomidate 2% trong phẫu thuật tim mở ở người lớn

To evaluate the changes of some circulatory indices and the effect of preventing hypotension during induction stage of anesthesia with a mixture of 2% etomidate - phenylephrine 50mcg/ml compared with 2% etomidate in adult open heart surgery. Methods: Randomized controlled clinical trial on 60 patients with open heart surgery being divided into 2 groups: Group 1: inducing with etomidate 2% - 2ml NaCl 0.9%. Group 2: inducing with etomidate 2% - 2ml of phenylephrine 50mcg/ml. We evaluated the change of some circulatory indices (heart rate, CVP, blood pressure) and the proportion of patients with hypotension after induction stage of anesthesia between the 2 study groups. Results: There was no difference in some circulatory indices (heart rate, CVP, SBP, DPB, MBP) between the 2 study groups. The rate of hypotension was lower in the phenylephrine group (66.7% versus 90%). Conclusions: In open heart surgery in adults, performing induction of anesthesia with a mixture of etomidate-phenylephrine helps to prevent hypotension and does not affect the patient's circulatory status.
