The study was conducted on analysis of secondary data from the VLSS (Vietnam Living Standards Surveys) from 2002 to 2012. Time Series methods were used for forecasting. The validation of these methods was based on MAE (Mean Absolute Error), MSE (Mean Square Error) and MAPE percent (Mean Absolute Percentage Error). Observations were made as follows: -The use rate of medical services in both rural and urban had an increasing tendency; -The regression equation of this increasing tendency was Yt= 30,56 + 1,55t with MSE = 4,7 and R = 0,6; -A linear correlation between time and use rate of medical services was viewed; -The use rate of State hospital services among urban populations was higher than among rural populations; -The use rate of commune health station (CHS) services among rural populations was higher than among urban populations.
