Hiệu quả mô hình hỗ trợ trong tăng cường sự sẵn có của dịch vụ sản nhi tại bệnh viện huyện 7 tỉnh miền núi phía Bắc

A cross-sectional study was conducted to describe the effectiveness of health supporting model for strengthening an availability of obstetric and pediatric services at district hospitals in seven Northern mountainous provinces. A total of 60 district hospitals were enrolled in this study. The results show that the proportion of performed obstetric techniques increased from 64.7 percent to 88.2 percent; the percentage of performed pediatric techniques increased from 68.8 percent to 85.4 percent. The rate of hospitals providing emergency services and neonatal units increased significantly. The results suggest that this model helped to improve significantly the capacity in delivering obstetric and pediatric services of those hospitals.
