
Objective: To evaluate the preliminary results of retrograde ureterolithotripsy in treatment of by machine Karl-Storzwith two channels drive action at the No.17 Military Hospital. Subject and method: 63 patiens with ureteral pelvic calculi were treated by retrograde ureterolithotripsy at the 17 Military Hospital from April 2011 to April 2014. Result: 30 cases (47.6 percent) and 33 cases (52.4 percent) were identified left and right ureteral stones, respectively. Diameter of stone was from 4 to 10 mm. The duration of lithotripsy was under 60 mins in 96.8 percent. The stone-free rate 100 percent in with good result 85.7 percent, medium result 14.5 percent. No complication was observed. Conclusion: Retrograde ureterolithotripsy is a safe and effective method for removal of ureteral pelvic calculi.
