
Objects: evaluating the results of treatment of cervical cancer by radical hysterectomy + pelvic lymph node dissection type III (wertheim type III). Subjects: 82 patients were diagnosed cervical cancer in stages IB1, mass under 2cm. Methods: describe, prospective. Results: 82 cervical cancer patients that had been treated by wertheim type III have results: no patients had fistular bladder. no patients had been died by therapy. Short-term complication had often occurred in 26,8 percent patients dysuria by surgery. 86,58 percent patients with simply surgery had not been a long-term dygestive and urothelial complication. 2/11 patients with radiotherapy adjuvant had rectal bleeding. With an average of'24 months monitoring, 5 years overrall survival were 93,4 percent. disease free survival were 92,7 percent. the rate of recurrence and metastasis disease was 2,4 percent (2/82 patients). The method also has the advantages: the treatment time is shorter than other methods and can preserve the ovaries in young women, and the easiness to follow up.
