Kết quả điều trị và một số yếu tố liên quan trong hạ đường máu ở trẻ em tại khoa hồi sức cấp cứu

Objectives: To assess the results of treatment and some factors related to hypoglycemia in Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) of national hospital of pediatrics (NHP). Patients: 38 patients was diagnosed hypoglycemia, the age from 1 month to 15 years treated in PICU of NHP, from october 1th to April 1 th 2006. The criteria of hypoglycemia based on Reids and Service FJ. Methods: retrospective description. Results: when patients admitted to ICU, the level of glycocemia was very low, mean: 2.1 + or - 0.7 mmol/l, after infussing and LV Dextrose following the protocol, the level of glycocemia was increased to normal in 69 percent patients and 10 percent patients until had hypoglycemia. The general results: the numbers of livings has 81.6 percent and 18.4 percent death Some factors related to hypoglycemia: it had different the level of glycocemia of the clinical symptom group and unclinical symptome , the group had severse desease and unseverse desease when admitted to ICU. Conciusion: need to considerable of glycocemia of severse patients when admitting to ICU, and need to assessment blood glucose in PICU.
