Kết quả nghiên cứu một số bệnh tật có liên quan của người dân sử dụng nước ngầm ô nhiễm Asen cao tại khu vực đồng bằng sông Hồng và sông Cửu Long

Many people living in the Red river delta and the Cuu Long river region are at risk of chronic arsenic toxicity cause by groundwater use for drinking. Clinical manifestations of the disease are diverse, from arsenic to cause harm to the function of many organ systems: skin, neurological, cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory... The concern is arsenic can cause skin cancer, lung, bladder and kidney. The study was conducted in 10 communes in five provinces and cities including Hanoi, Ha Nam and Hung Yen, Dong Thap and Tien Giang. The results show that: hyperkeratosis (8.4 percent), hypopigmentation (5.6 percent), pigmentation disorders (4.9 percent), hyperpigmentation (4.6 percent). Hair loss is (35.5 percent); other (3.4 percent). The percentage of people was diagnosed chronic arsenic toxicity 6.3 percent.
