
Objectives of the study was to define the proportion of anti-CCP antibody and rheumatoid factor (RF) in rheumatoid arthritis patients hospitalized in Can Tho central general hospital and study relations beween the presence of RF and anti-CCP with other features. The result indicated that the proportion of patients with the presence of RF was 85 percent with the average concentration 95.1 + or - 57.6 IU/ml. The proportion of patients with positive anti-CCP was 91.67 percent with the average concentration 66.63 + or - 43.3 IU/ml. There was a relation between the presence of RF or both RF and anti-CCP simultaneously with disease activity score (DAS-28) and bone erosions in X ray of wrist joint (p 0.05). The features of RF and anti-CCP in rheumatoid arthritis patients treated in Can Tho central hospital was similar to other regions in Vietnam.
