
Through the desciptive and analytic research (combining qualitative and quantitative analysis) with 1002 objects belonging to the age of giving blood in 4 kinds of careers in Hanoi, it shows that majority of people just get inadequate knowledge of giving blood. 42.3 percent has limited information, 38.9 percent has bad knowledge and just 18.8 percent has right perception about blood donation. The age of 18-25 is the best. The repeating donors have better knowledge than the first. The positive factors for changing donating blood behavior are: adequate perception, right attitude about blood donation; blood donation days in working places and schools; proposal or inviation to give blood; and supported by relatives. The factors obstructing donating behavior are: being tired last time; waiting long; unsuitable time; being unhappy of servicing quality at donation place. The main channels about blood donation are: Internet, TV, working places, schools, proparagatlng people and invitation letters.
