The study was conducted on knowledge and practice on intestinal worm infestation of 688 parents who have their child studied at three primary schools of Haiphong, the results showed: - 56.25 percent of them can listed the name of 4 worm types, 51.16 percent knew two pathways of transmission, 87.35 percent knew 3 negative consequence of worm infestation, 80.09 percent knew of these diseases through health workers; - 61.10 percent of parents don't eat raw vegetable, 92.29 percent washed hands before eating, 96.65 percent washed hands after defecating; 47.23 percent provided anti-worm drug for their child within 6 month.
