Objective: Freezing of red blood cells in 80oC with 40 percent w/v glycerol by Hemonetic ACP 215 instrument. Method: Technique strored blood red cells in -80oC with 40 percent w/v glycerol by Hemonetic ACP 215 instrument Glycerol and Deglycerol by Hemonetic ACP 215 with quality control follow EU stardards. Result: Numbers of units were stored 219 units of glycerol frozen red blood cells at -80oC in 185 days to 532 days (3 months - 18 months). Quality control units: Every residual of Hb 91.72 + or - 7.24; Hb 28g/units with volume of 350ml 250ml, Hb 43g with volume of 350ml and Hb 50g with volume of 450ml. The quantity of residual of glycerol 1.333g percent and white cells 0.43 + or - 0,39 x 10 exponent 8. Bacterial culture: negative 100 percent. Compare with foreign authors and EU stardards our result were not different. Contusion: Methods Freezing of red blood cells in -80oC with 40 percent w/v glycerol by Hemonetic ACP 215 instrument. Quality control by EU stardards should be used for modern blood banks for stored rare blood group with large scale.
