
Nowadays, lung cancer stands at the first place in the area of the incidence and mortality rate in men. Early diagnostic plays one of the most important roles in saving patients' lives. Objective: Determining the clinical symptoms and sign of lung cancer patients and evaluating results of diagnostic tests. Subjects: 45lung-cancer patients in Respiratory Departement of Viet-Tiep Hospital from January 2010 to June 2011. Method: Etude restrospective sectionale. Results: chest pain (75.56 percent), cough (57.78 percent), dyspnea (53.33 percent), pleural effusion (33.33 percent), lymph nodes (22.22 percent). Almost all patients referred to hospital in pre-terminal stages (stages IIIb and IV 57.78 percent). For obtaining tissue for definitive diagnosis: 97.92 percent biopsies through bronchoscopy. The histological result: adenocarcinoma (64.44 percent), squamous - cell carcinoma (37.78 percent). Coclusions: 3 common symptoms: Chest pain, cough, dyspnea. CT scanner had a better value. Bronchoscopy with broncho-biopsy are the most effective diagnostic techniques, complication is not common.
