Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang, quan sát trên phim Panorama 1282 răng hàm sữa của các bệnh nhân 5-8 tuổi. Ghi nhận tình trạng lâm sàng các răng hàm sữa và hình ảnh tiêu chân răng của các răng trên phim Panorama. Kết quả cho thấy: Tỉ lệ tiêu viêm ở nhóm sâu răng có tổn thương tủy cao gấp 1140 lần so với nhóm không tổn thương tủy 95% CI: 56 - 2317. Tiêu viêm chân răng hàm sữa ở trẻ 5-8 tuổi có mối liên quan chặt chẽ với sâu răng có tổn thương tuỷ răng chưa được điều trị.
A cross-sectional descriptive study, observed 1282 primary molars of 5-8 year old patients. Age, dental history, caries, pulpitis and the images of the root resorption of primary molars on Panorama film were recorded. The results showed that: The rate of inflammatory root resorption in group of pulpitis by caries was higher than the normal pulp group with OR: 1140, 95% CI: 56 - 2317. Inflammatory root resorption of primary molars in 5 - 8 year-old patients was closely associated to pulpitis by caries without treatment.
