
Objective: To study some clinical and echocardiographic findings in the patients with DORV before and after operation. Subjects: Including all the patients with DORV underwent biventricular repaired, excluded DORV patients with biventricular unbalance. Method: Descriptive Prospective study. Results: 20 patients with fallot type of DORV underwent total correction in National Hospital of Pediatric (NHP) from 1/2008 to 1/2012. Male/female ratio: 3/1, mean operation age: 17,8 months, average weight:7,9 kg. Preoperation clinical features showed that: cyanosis( 100 percent). Systolic murmur at the 3rd ICS (70 percent) and 25 percent of patients had clubbing of fingers and toes. Echocardiography showed that: 60 percent patients had subaortic VSD, 90 percent patients had moderate to severe pulmonary stenosis, 10 percent patients had abnormal coronary arteries. After operation, Peak gradient throught pulmonary vale decreased from 77 mmHg to 17 mmHg, morphology of right ventricular outflow tract, pulmonary trunk and right ventricle were more better. Conclussion: Patients with DORV had resemble clinical symptoms like Tetralogy of Fallot. Some echocardiographic parameter was improved rapidly after operation.
