Một số yếu tố nguy cơ bệnh không lây nhiễm của người dân từ 40-79 tuổi tại thành phố Việt Trì, Phú Thọ năm 2010

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are increasing and responsible for large proportion of disease burden in developing countries, inlcuding Vietnam. The study was to investigate the risk factors of NCDs include lifestyle on smoking, alcohol drinking, inapropriate nutrition and in-physical activity in the people at the group 40-79 in urban area of Viet Tri in 2010. The resrults showed that the prevalence of smoking in male was 42.7 percent while the rate of passive smoking was in men and women is 60.3 percent; 48.1 percent, respectively. The prevalence of people who had less than 5 standard servings of fruit/vegetable was in 83.1 percent for men and 79.8 percent for women. The prevalence of physical activity at low level in male (35.8) was higher than females (24.2 percent). The prevalence of hypertension in male (57.8 percent) was significantly higher than females (40.3 percent) with p '0.01. In conclusion, It is needed to apply integrated interventional approach in NCDs prevention and control in the community.
