Na Hang is a mountainous district of Tuyen Quang province where the proportion of ethnic minorities accounted for 90.28 percent of the district population. This is one of the districts of the province with special difficulties: difficulties in the economy, culture, education... and especially health difficulties. Team doctors are inadequate in number and weak in expertise; Medical facilities are limited. The policy of the Party and the State, the Party committees, governments, unions and Tuyen Quang health sector are interested in protection, health care for people, especially ethnic minorities in recent years. However, the actual health development in Na Hang - Tuyen Quang ethnic minority regions which was slow did not meet the requirements. Therefore, improving the quality of health care for ethnic minorities in this district which is very necessary contributing to improve the quality of life for residents.
