Cây Dủ dẻ trâu (Melodorum fruticosum Lour.), họ Na (Annonaceae) là một loài được trồng để làm cảnh ở Đông Nam Á, có công dụng hỗ trợ tiêu hóa, chữa sốt. Ở Việt Nam, cây phân bố chủ yếu ở miền Trung. Tuy nhiên, còn có sự nhầm lẫn về tên khoa học cũng như chưa có nghiên cứu đầy đủ về đặc điểm giải phẫu của loài này. Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm mô tả đặc điểm thực vật, xác định tên khoa học, mô tả đặc điểm vi phẫu và bột thân, lá của cây Dủ dẻ trâu thu hái tại Quảng Nam. Tên khoa học của các mẫu được xác định là Melodorum fruticosum Lour., có những đặc điểm đặc trưng như: bụi trườn dài 1-3m; lá nhẵn ở hai mặt; cánh hoa không có đường sống lưng, hình trứng hoặc gần hình tim; lá đài nhỏ; núm nhụy hình phễu rộng; noãn 6-8, xếp thành 2 hàng dọc theo đường nối bụng; vỏ quả khi khô rất nhăn nheo. Đây là báo cáo đầu tiên mô tả đầy đủ cấu tạo giải phẫu và đặc điểm bột của thân, lá cây Dủ dẻ trâu. Cùng với đặc điểm hình thái của cây, đặc điểm giải phẫu cũng cung cấp cơ sở khoa học giúp bổ sung kết quả mô tả về Dủ dẻ trâu, giúp cho v iệc nghiên cứu, kiểm nghiệm loài chính xác hơn.
Melodorum fruticosum Lour., belonging to Annonaceae family, is a shrub not only planted as a decorative in Asean but also used to aid digestion, decrease fever. In Vietnam, this species is commonly grown in the Central region; however, there is confusion in the science name as well as no comprehensive research on the microscopic characteristics. This study was carried out to describe the morphological and microscopic characteristics to identify scientific name of the species collected in Quang Nam. The scientific name of the samples was determined to be Melodorum fruticosum Lour., which has typical characteristics such as: scandent shrub up to 1-3m tall; leaf blade glabrous; petals without longitudinal veins, ovate or nearly heart-shaped; small sepals; wide funnel-shaped stigma; ovules ca 6-8 in 2 rows; wrinkled pericarp in dried specimens. This report is the first work to fully describe the anatomical structure and powder characteristics of the stem and leaves of Melodorum fruticosum Lour. Along with the morphological characteristics, the anatomical features also provide a scientific basis to supplement the description results of the species Melodorum fruticosum Lour., helping with species identification, researching and testing later.
