Nghiên cứu đặc điểm lâm sàng và thực trạng một số bệnh tai mũi họng trên bệnh nhân có dị hình hốc mũi qua thăm khám nội soi tại bệnh viện Trường Đại học Y Dược Thái Nguyên

Objectives: To describe clinical characteristics of common nasal malformation and to examine the status of ear nose throat (ENT) diseases on patients with nasal malformation. Participants: 225 patients with nasal malformation detected endoscopicqlly at the Thai Nguyen Pharmaco-medical College Hospital. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive studies and analyses. Results and conclusions: Most patients had bilateral nasal malformation (67,6 percent), mainly at the middle meatus (50,2 percent). The rate of combined malformation was relatively high (38,7 percent). There was a roughly equal number of septal malformation and nasal lateral wall malformation, in which septal malformation occurred mainly at zone 4 (58,9 percent) and 100 percent of nasal lateral wall malformation were seen at the middle area. Main subjective symptoms were nasal obstruction (81,3 percent) and nasal discharge (68,9 percent). In the patients with nasal malformation, sino-nasal and nasopharyngeal diseases accounted for a high proportion (81,3 percent).
