Abstract
An HPLC method was developed for quantitative determination of Scopoletin as one of the main active compounds in Fructus Morindae citrifoliae. The method was validated to prove desirable suitability of the HPLC conditions (column: RP-C18; detector: UV(350nm); mobile phase: acetonitrile - 0.1 percent aqueous formic acid (30:70); flow rate.' 1ml/min; inj. volume: 25/11), good linearity between the corresponding peak areas and scopoletin concentrations (R-1.000), high repeatibility (RSD
