To determine the disease pattern in patients at the satellite general clinic of Thu Duc District Hospital located at the Binh Chieu ward health station and describe the trend of changes in the number of patients f-rom 2016-2018. Methods: Surveying 57,750 medical records at satellite polyclinic in Binh Chieu ward, the time of admission and disc-harge was f-rom July 2016 to December 31, 2018. Result: In terms of the number of patients at the General Hospital located at the medical station of Binh Chieu ward, the increase f-rom 2016 was 17 times/day, in 2017 it was 66 times/day, in 2018 it was 76 times/day. The number of patients peaked in about 3 groups including children, about 25 to 30 years old and about 60 years old. The percentage of women was higher than that of men in all 3 years of the survey. The highest rate was in the General Internal Medicine clinic with 19,161 patients for examination and treatment, followed by the ENT clinic with 18,342 patients. The majority of patients by disease chapter increased f-rom 2016 to 2018. The highest number of patients in Chapter 10, 2016 was 2,721 patients and increased 7 times higher in 2017 to 14,680 people, in 2018 to 15,769 people. For the remaining disease chapters, the number of patients increases year by year but does not increase more than 2 times compared to the previous year. The number of patients tends to change seasonally, increasing in the last months of the year. Conclusion: identifying disease patterns and disease trends helps managers to make flexible changes in patient access strategies, in order to allocate medical resources reasonably to provide good medical services. best for the community.
