Correlation between hemoglobin and disease activity index in anemia rheumatoid arlhritis patients. Objective. To detennine the correlation between hemoglobin level and disease activity index in anemia rheumatoid arlhritis patients. Patients and methods. Anemia rheumatoid arlhritis patients who were' diagnosis and treated in Rheumatology deparlment, Bach mai Hospital from September, 2010 to September, 2011. Hemoglobin level and disease activity index (DAS 28-MI,. DAS 28-CRP, Richie) were compared. Results. 76 rheumatoid arlhritis patients with 54.4 percent with light anemia, 34.8 percent with medium anemia and 10.8 percent with severe anemia. There are negative correlation between hemoglobin level and disease activity index such as DAS 28-MI (r=-0.374), DAS 28CRP (r=-0.317) and Richie index (r=-0.34). Colclusion. There are negative correlation between hemoglobin level and disease activity index in patients with anemia rheumatoid arthritis (p0.01).
