Both groups were tested on the concentration of progesterone. The result showed that the average amount of progesterone of intra-uterine river was: 22.38 + or - 8.96 ng/ml (10.32-44.51 ng/ml) and of ectopic pregnancy are: 6.86 + or - 4.81 (0.25-45 ng/ml). The difference is statistically significant with p 0.05. 89.2 percent of ectopic pregnancy patients had the progesterone concentration 15 ng/ml. In contrast 85 percent of intrauterine patients had progesterone concentration 15ngjml.
