Studies was carried out on 247 patients with type 2 diabetes, including 114 patients without renal failure and 133 patients with renal failure, cross-sectional descriptive methods, with the aim of understanding heart rate variability (HRV) changes in diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and correlation between the index HRV with Hb. The result is a decrease in the index time- and frequency-domain analysis of HRV on 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography recording (VLF, LF / HF, SDNN, SDANN) in DKD according on the level of without renal failure, mild-moderate renal failure, severe renal failure. There was also a reduction of HRV in group with proteinuria and microalbuminuria. In addition, in DKD with anemia (Hb 110g / L) there was also decrease the HRV index compared of which without anemia (reduced VLF, LF, LF / HF, SDNN, SDANN, ASDNN) and which without renal failure (increase LF in group without anemia). There is a positive correlation between the index time- and frequencydomain HRV with Hb, just highlight the correlation between VLF (r
