Nghiên cứu sự thay đổi các chỉ số tế bào máu ở bệnh nhân ung thư dạ dày, đại tràng được phẫu thuật tại Bệnh viện Đại học Y Hà Nội

Objectives: To study the change of blood cell counts in gastric and colon cancer patients before and after the surgery. Method: Analysis of full blood cell count from 104 patients (38 with gastric cancer and 66 with colon cancer) before and after operation. Results: Anemia has seen in 44.7 percent patients with colon cancer and 33.6 percent patients with gastric cancer. Hemoglobin and platelet were decreased; white blood cell was increased right after operation, however, all the indices have recovered after 7 days. Conclusion: Anemia was in quite high frequent in digestive cancers. The change of blood cell indices was related with operation; however, the recovery was completed early.
