During treating HIV/AIDS patients with ARV, along with following up treatment' results, side effects of ARV should be concerned: Some of major side effects are those on liver. Purpose: investigate the changes of liver enzymes, bilirubine levels in HIV/AIDS patients treated with d4T/3TC/NVP regimen. Method: 99 HIV/AIDS patients with normal liver enzymes were treated with d4T/3TC/NVP, the changes of liver enzymes of those patients after treatment were evaluated. Result: 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment, ALT level increased in 6,1 percent and 11,1 percent patients respectively; AST level increased in 9,1 percent and 12,1 percent patients respectively; Bilirubine level increased in 5,1 percent patients. Patients suffering serious side effects which led to the change of treatment medication accounted for 4 percent.
