
Studying 311 patients on wound infections with clean and clean contaminated abdominal surgery at the No.108 Central Military Hospital from June to September 2012, the results showed that the percentage of patients infected withwound infection was 2.2 percent ; the shallow rate was 1.6 percent ; the deep wound infection was 0.6 percent; and there was no wound infection in the body / cavity surgery. The rate of wound infection in colorectal surgery patients was 5.6 percent; inguinal hernia surgery was 4.8 percent; liver and gallbladder surgery was 2.1 percent. The open surgical wound infection rate was 2.7 percent; laparoscopic surgery wound infection rate was 1.9 percent. Chronic diseases, ASA score or = II, surgical time 2h are high risky factors for wound infections, but time of stay in hospital before surgery were less related. The average number of days in hospital of patients with wound infections was 6.8 + or - 1.5 days more than those without infected incision; antibiotic treatment costs increased by 14.8 times.
