P. falciparum parasites resistant to artemisinin derivatives is growing in the Central Highlands and the South East. Using the PCR technique identified parasites for all blood samples of patients in-vivo follow up have D3 maintain parasites and reappear after treatment artesunate 7 days and Arterakine 3 days in Binh Phuoc and Gia Lai from 2011 to 2012. Comparison of P. falciparum genotypes between D0 and D3 for kinetic analysis parasite genotypes in the first 3 days of treatment and compare parasite genotypes in D0 and D reappear to distinguish parasite relapse-reinfection. Results identify patients with recurrent related parasite positive at D3, in the case of patients reappear the parasites were 46 percent recurrence, re-infection 18 percent and mix re-infection - recurrence 36 percent.
