Phát hiện một trường hợp bỏng nặng nhiễm nấm máu hiếm gặp Candida guilliermonddii bằng kỹ thuật PCR

A 22 years old girl with severe burn 55 percent TBSA with 25 percent depth, inhalation injury after intensive care treatment, high and prolonged doses of antibiotics and fungal colonization from the burn eschar had signs of fungemia. Blood culture was negative but PCR positive for the ITS gene with the size of 600bp corresponding to the fungus Candida guilliermondii. This is a very rare case of candidemia due to C. guilliermondii reported in Vietnam.
