Quản lý điều trị ngoại trú người bệnh đái tháo đường type 2 và một số yếu tố ảnh hưởng tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa tư nhân Bình Dương giai đoạn 2021-5/2023

Describe the current status of management and treatment of type 2 diabetes and some influencing factors at Binh Duong Private General Hospital in the period of 2021-5/2023. Research Methods: Analytical cross-sectional design. Quantitative study was performed on 675 medical records being managed and treated for type 2 diabetes at the diabetes clinic. Information collected includes examination results; test; diagnose; treatment; periodic examination; monitoring, supervision and treatment counseling. Use descriptive statistics and test when squaring to determine associated factors. Results: The number of newly diagnosed diabetes patients who were managed and treated in the period 2021-5/2023 increased by 75, 90, and 98, respectively. The rate of type 2 diabetes patients who followed up on time was high, reaching 87.2%. However, the group of patients aged 60 years and older had a 2.56 times higher tendency to not return for regular check-ups than patients aged 59 and under. The group of female patients was 9.25 times more likely to not follow up on time than male patients. Conclusion: the management and treatment of type 2 diabetes at the hospital has achieved positive results.
