Tác dụng chống oxy hóa của mật ong trên độc tính đối với tế bào thần kinh gây ra bởi Paraquat

Honey has been known as an effective antioxidant for a long time. On the model used in this study, honey showed its ability to improve conscious memory and learning capacity, and to reduce Paraquat-induced cognitive disturbance. Behaviour tests and biochemical assays indicated that 10 mg/kg of Paraquat started in to damage nervous system of mice through oxidative stress. Simultaneously, the results also demonstrated the neuroprotective effect of honey by decreasing Paraquat-Induced toxicity.
