Nghiên cứu nhằm xác định sự thay đổi chỉ số xương hàm trên phim sọ nghiêng Cephalometrics của các bệnh nhân điều trị khớp cắn loại II tiểu loại 1 có nhổ bốn răng hàm nhỏ. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy góc SNA giảm 0,15 ± 2,260 và góc SNB tăng 0,15 ± 1,560 không có ý nghĩa thống kê. Các chỉ số góc GoGn-SN, chiều cao tầng mặt trước N-Me thay đổi ít lần lượt nhỏ hơn 10, 1mm không có ý nghĩa thống kê. Như vậy, phân tích trên phim Cephalometrics cho thấy nền xương hàm trên và dưới không thay đổi theo chiều trước sau và theo chiều đứng ở các bệnh nhân khớp cắn loại II tiểu loại 1 có nhổ bốn răng hàm nhỏ điều trị nắn chỉnh răng.
This study determined the change of the jawbone's indexes in the anterior-posterior, and vertical dimensions on Cephalometrics of class II division 1 malocclusion patients with extraction of four premolars. After treatment, SNA angle decreased by 0.15 ± 2.26o and the SNB angle increased by 0.15 ± 1.56o but there was no statistical significance. The indexes GoGn-SN, N-Me changed less than 1o , 1mm with no statistical significance. Thus, on analysis of Cephalometrics film, there was no change of the anterior-posterior and vertical dimensions of the maxillary and mandibular bones of the class II devision 1 malocclusion patients with extraction of four premolars.
