The study was carried out on 110 patients treated as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) according to AASLD practice guideline in Digestive department of No.103 Hospital who were followed from 04/2009 to 06/2011. The result showed that: - 45.2 percent of patients with massive type of HCC had mass recurrence in the following time. The recurrence of diffuse type accounted for 17.8 percent. The authors determined 41.8 percent ofpatients having new vein invasion and 15.0 percent having extrahepatic metastasis, mainly lung metastasis (amounting to 40.0 percent of cases). - The one - year overall survival rate was 29.1 percent and median survival was 12,1 months. The longest survival time was 27 months.
