
Background: This is the report of the first case with ureteral fibroepithelial polyp in the No.108 Central Military Hospital. Patients and methods: A case-report study was performed on a patient with ureteral fibroepithelial polyp, which was managed by ureteroscopic procedure. Results: The definitive diagnosis of ureteral polyp was made intraoperatively by ureteroscopy. The polyp was removed successfully by using monopolar cut. Histopathological result showed the fibroepithelial specimen. There was no evidence of recurrence after one-year follow-up with abdominal ultrasound and cystoscopy. Conclusion: Fibroepithelial ureteral polyp is a rare benign tumor of ureter. The definitive diagnosis is only made by ureteroscopy and histopathology. The ureteroscopic management is satisfactory.
