Through direct interviews with 228 health workers involved in disinfection and sterilization activities at 2 traditional medicine hospitals (Hanoi and the Ministry of Public Security) on knowledge of disinfection and sterilization of medical instruments, showed that the right understanding rate about: - Concept of bacteriosis, low sterilization (44.30%; 40,35%); in which the Hospital of Traditional Medicine, the right knowledge rate is higher than the Hospital of Traditional Medicine (60.00%; 51.58% vs. 33.08%; 32.33%). - Indicators of hospital infections related to medical instruments such as Frequency of use; Mechanism hospital infection through medical instruments) hospital infections caused by viruses related to medical instruments and hospital quality related to medical instruments rangedf rom 25.44% to 45.18%. - Basic principles ofd isinfection and sterilization of medical instruments such as: Principles of reuse of medical instruments; Cleaning medical instruments before kh \ TK; sterilization with surgical implantsfrom 27.19%-44.30%. - Quality control of sterile medical instruments, with the highest post-sterilization control target of55.26%. - How to disinfect and sterilize according to the classification of low medical instruments only from 41.67% - 44.30%.
