Due to the physiological characteristics, the elderly are vulnerable to disease and have more health problems than other age groups. Therefore, the demand for health care of elderly people increasing, especially in the current environment. The research to understand health and health care needs of elderly people in 4 communes in Dong Anh district, Hanoi. The results showed that 57.7 percent of elderly health status evaluation is normal, over 20 percent of elderly that spiritual comfort, nearly 16 percent of elderly have difficulty walking, was born activity. Number of sick elderly 62.9 percent, mainly wishes of elderly people are provided information on disease prevention and health care and medical treatment at affordable cost.
