Xác định tỉ lệ cắt cụt chi dưới ở người bệnh đái tháo đường tuýp 2 điều trị nội trú bệnh viện Nội tiết Trung ương. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 200 người bệnh tại khoa Chăm sóc bàn chân từ tháng 8/2023 đến tháng 4/ 2024. Kết quả: 71,5% người bệnh đái tháo đường tham gia nghiên cứu trên 60 tuổi, trong đó 67,5% là nam, thời gian điều trị loét trước khi nhập viện từ 7 – 30 ngày (66%), loét độ 3 chiếm (55%), độ 4(16%), chỉ có 2 trường hợp loét độ 5. Diện tích vết loét chủ yếu 1- 5 cm2(57%). Người bệnh nhiễm trùng nặng chiếm (17%) Tỉ lệ cắt cụt chi dưới là 31,5%. Kết luận: Tỉ lệ loét bàn chân ở nam giới trong nghiên cao hơn nữ giới. Đa số người bệnh loét bàn chân trong độ tuổi 60 – 69 tuổi, loét độ 3 chiếm tỉ lệ cao nhất là 55,5%. Vết loét khi nhập viện trong tình trạng nhiễm trùng mức độ nhẹ - trung bình là 83%. Diện tích vết loét chủ yếu trong nhóm 1 -5 cm2 chiếm 57%. Tỉ lệ cắt cụt chi dưới trong nghiên cứu là 31,5%.
Amputation rate of diabetic foot ulcer in diabetes mellitus patients admitted in National hospital of endocrinology. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 200 patients at the Foot Care Department from August 2023 to April 2024. Results: 71.5% of people with diabetes were over 60 years of age, and 67.5% were males. The lower limb cut rate is 31.5%. Some clinical characteristics of the patients include a treatment duration for ulcers before hospitalization ranging from 7 to 30 days (66%), with stage 3 ulcers accounting for (55%), stage 4 (16%), and only 2 cases of stage 5 ulcers. The area of the ulcer mainly ranges from 1 to 5 cm² (57%). Severe infection is 17%. Conclusion: The rate of foot ulcers in men is higher than in women. Most patients with foot ulcers are aged between 60 and 69 years. The duration of diabetes in patients is mostly between 10 to 20 years. The treatment time for ulcers before hospitalization mainly ranges from 7 to 30 days, with stage 3 ulcers accounting for the highest percentage at 55.5%. The ulcer upon admission in a state of mild to moderate infection is 83%. The area of the ulcer mainly in group 1 - 5 cm² accounts for 57%. The rate of lower limb amputation in the study is 31.5%.
