Objectives: to feature visceral lesions experienced by 24 allergy patients having Lyell (TEN) syndrome, from January 2012 to June 2013, at the Center of Allergology and clinical immunology, Bach Mai hospital, where the treatment method combining retrospective and randomized is employed. Our results show that the proportion of male patients (54.2 percent) is higher than that of female patients (45.8 percent), where the average age of the patients is (46.6-t23.4) years old. The highest proportion (33.3 percent) belongs to 40-59 yearold group, which is followed by 20-39 age group (29.2 percent), while the group of patients over 60 years old accounts for 25.0 percent and the group of patients under 19 years old is up to 12.5 percent. The proportion of patients experiencing increased liver enzymes GPT is 58.3 percent, while that of patients having increased blood urea is 33.3 percent, whereas those associated with increased serum creatinine and lung injury are 25.0 percent and 8.3 percent, respectively. None of patients suffers from cardiac or neurological lesions. The average value of blood urea and serum creatinine is 16.1 + or - 23.8 mmol/l and 142.9 + or - 191.7 umol/l, respectively. The average value of GOT, GPT and GGT is 108.7 + or - 165.2, 77.8 + or - 75.3 and 463.0 + or - 383. 8 mmol/l, respectively. The average value of total bilirubin is 27.0 + or - 43.3 umol/l, while that of direct bilirubin is 11.2 + or - 12. 8 umol/l, whereas indirect bilirubin has an average value of 18.4 + or - 35.9 umol/l. There is no difference in indices of peripheral blood and mean baseline coagulation collected from Lyell patients, when compared to corresponding indices obtained from normal persons.
